Companion Animal Alliance is contracted by East Baton Rouge Parish to provide municipal animal sheltering services. As the parish's municipal animal shelter, CAA is responsible for accepting and caring for all stray, unwanted, displaced, and surrendered animals, as well as animals seized by Animal Control.

If you have lost a pet in East Baton Rouge Parish, please come by our facility to do a lost-pet walk-through.

If you have found a pet in East Baton Rouge Parish, you can bring the animal to our facility between 8:30 and 9:30 Monday through Friday during our found animal walk-in hour or schedule a found animal drop-off appointment.

If you need to surrender your pet, please schedule an owner surrender appointment.
