Foster to Rehome

Sometimes a little extra time is all that's needed to find a pet the right home. Through CAA's Foster-to-Rehome program, approved owners temporarily care for their own pet while searching for a new family. By keeping pets in a familiar environment, we can reduce stress for the animal, prevent unnecessary shelter admissions, and reserve shelter resources for pets with immediate needs.

This program may be available for pets that are healthy, behaviorally appropriate, and safe to remain in their current home while a new placement is found. Contact us to learn more about eligibility.
