Due to the high volume of animals in our care and the number of people we serve each day, our team is often unable to answer phone calls immediately.

If you have found an injured stray animal or are experiencing an animal-related emergency within East Baton Rouge Parish, please contact East Baton Rouge Animal Control immediately. They can be reached Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm at 225-774-7700. Outside of their operating hours, please dial 311.
If the emergency involves immediate danger to people or animals after hours, call your local law enforcement agency.
