Adopt a pet from CAA

CAA receives over 8,000 animals per year, and most of them are available for adoption, foster, or rescue.

Why adopt from us? Because we have the best pets in town! CAA has dogs and cats of every size, shape, color, age, and breed.  All animals have been under the care of CAA veterinarians.  Our dogs have been temperament tested.  Professional adoption counselors help those looking for their next family member to find the right pet for each family.  When you adopt from CAA, you are getting a great new furry friend for life!

Watch this short video to learn more about what we do to ensure that our animals make great pets for your home.

Adoption fees vary depending on the size, age and breed of the pet, and whether they've been in foster or shelter care.  We have frequent specials!  Come see!

The adoption fee includes: Spay/neuter, Canine DHPP and Bordetlla vaccinations and feline DRTC vaccinations, microchip, rabies vaccination, de-worming, feline leukemia/FIV test, heartworm test—more than $400 value at many veterinary clinics!

Rescue groups

Rescue groups greatly aid us in our mission and we appreciate them. Depending on the organization, either all or some of the animals that they have for adoption come from CAA. If you are looking for a new family member and don't find the perfect one at CAA, please choose from one of these wonderful organizations. If you are a rescue group and would like to learn more about helping CAA animals, please contact CAA.
