Adopt your new best friend!

Please email adopt@caabr.org with any questions about a particular pet. CAA receives new animals daily. We encourage potential adopters to visit our shelter, to browse adoptapet.com, petfinder.com, or our Facebook to find the perfect fit. Thank you for adopting!

Companion Animal Alliance is an open-adoptions facility. There is no application necessary to adopt pets residing in the shelter. “Open adoptions” is a practice that aims to make potential adopters comfortable and welcome during the adoption process. For questions regarding open-adoption policies, please email adopt@caabr.org.

CAA receives over 9,500 animals per year, and most of them are available for adoption, foster, or rescue.

Why adopt from us? Because we have the best pets in town! CAA has dogs and cats of every size, shape, color, age, and breed.  All animals have been under the care of CAA veterinarians.  Professional adoption counselors help those looking for their next family member to find the right pet for each family.  When you adopt from CAA, you are getting a great new furry friend for life!

Our adoption protocols have changed.

If you are interested in adopting an animal that is listed as being in a foster home, please fill out the adoption survey. After submitting the survey, the foster family will contact you shortly to answer any questions. If you have not heard back from the foster family within 2-3 business days of completing your application, please email our foster coordinator at foster@caabr.org to follow up.

For any questions about a particular pet, please email our adoption team.
